NSW Health COVID-19 Vaccination Response

In July 2021 NSW Health contracted AMI to establish a COVID vaccination clinic at the Bankstown Community Social Club during the early stages of the pandemic. Blackfyre Global had less than 12 hours from first point of call from NSW Health, to deploy approximately 56 staff of varying craft groups, establish a fully functional and compliant vaccination clinic and commence public vaccinations by 0800 the next morning.

Bankstown is a very culturally diverse sector of the community where English is most persons second language. The Initial uptake of the vaccine was poor and did not meet number expectations of NSW Health. Blackfyre Global insighted a number of initiatives to bridge the language barriers and “market” the availability of vaccinations. The results were instantaneous peaking to greater than 500 hundred vaccinations per day.
